By placing an order on our website you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions which are as follows:
All prices on the website are inclusive of VAT at 17.5%. This is split out at checkout (and removed if you are outside Europe).
ALL TRANSACTIONS ARE IN £GBP (BRITISH STERLING) - WE ARE A UK BASED COMPANY.
JoBananas Despatch Times
At JoBananas customer satisfaction is very important to us
and we want your shopping experience with us to be a great one!
We carry a huge stock of items and ship 95% of orders on
either the day that they are placed or the next business day. We have deliveries at least twice a week from
our suppliers, so if for any reason we are unable to ship your order straight
away it will usually be shipped within 1-4 days of your order being
placed.
If we have any problems with your order we will contact you
by email or phone to let you know what is happening, so please make sure that
your contact details are correct.
You can log into your account at any time and check on the
status of your order by clicking on “Orders history” in the view cart box on
the right hand side:
Not finished – we have
not received payment for your order
Processed – we have
received your order and payment (confirmed by email)
Declined – your card
was declined by your issuing bank
Queued – we are
currently working on your order
Awaiting reply – we have emailed you regarding your order and are waiting for a response
Backordered – we are
waiting for a delivery to fulfil your order (1-4 days)
Shipped – your order
has been shipped by your chosen shipping method (confirmed by email)

Methods
Costs can be found in the Shipping Costs table on the right
hand side of every page.
Please note that the following timescales are given for
guidance only and we will not be held responsible for any delays.
UK Orders
First Class orders usually arrive 1-2 days after they are
sent.
If you select First Class Recorded (recommended) a signature
will be required upon delivery. *
Special Delivery (recommended for orders over £34) insures
the delivery whilst in transit and orders should arrive the day after despatch before
1pm (Mon-Thur), they will require a signature upon delivery. *
* If there is no one to sign for the delivery the postman
will leave a card and the order will be taken back to your local sorting
office. The card will explain what your options are for redelivery or
collection. The sorting office usually holds items for a week and then they
return them to us, if this happens we will get in touch with you to discuss
arranging redelivery costs.
Worldwide Orders
Orders sent by airmail usually arrive within 10 working days
of being posted but may take longer depending on the postal service and delays
in Customs.
Please note that items sent by this method are not insured,
so we recommend that the chosen shipping method for orders over £30 is Signed
for Airmail.
We only hold proof of posting receipts
for 3 months - non delivery of orders must be reported within this time scale.
RETURNS POLICY
Returning goods to JoBananas
Please note that we are unable to accept any returns of body
jewellery where the sealed packet has been opened, due to the intimate nature
of these items.
We reserve the right to refuse any unauthorised returns, and any items that are
returned in a condition that prevents them from being resold will be returned
to the customer. Any free gifts which were received must also be returned in
sealed packaging or paid for where applicable.
Any returns must be authorised within 7 days after the
day that your order is received using the Returns Request Option.
- Log in to your
account and click Returns Request (In the “View Cart” Menu on the right hand
side);
- Click on Orders;
- Search for the order
that you wish to return item(s) from and click on the invoice number;
- Select the item(s)
that you wish to return, the reason for return, required action and add any
comments, then click Create;
- Please DO NOT send
anything back until you receive an email confirming that your return has been
authorised, failure to do this may result in your returns being refused and
sent back to sender;
- Once authorised you
will receive a returns number which must be clearly marked on the outer packaging
of your return.
- You should then send
the item(s) back to us at the invoice address by an appropriate shipping method
and in suitable packaging. We will not
be held responsible for any returned items lost or damaged during transit to us.
Complaints
JoBananas is committed to customer satisfaction, any
complaints we receive will be treated as top priority and we aim to resolve
problems quickly and effectively.

LEGAL DISCLAIMER:
At JoBananas, body jewellery is handled as little as possible but is not sterilized prior to despatch - we recommend that customers sterilize all jewellery before insertion and by placing an order with us you are agreeing to this. We give general guidance on this site about the materials used in our jewellery and suitability for different piercings but this is our opinion only and must not be relied upon. Customers should seek the advice of a reputable piercing studio with any concerns regarding piercings or in the case of an emergency seek medical advice.
JoBananas does not take any responsibility for any harm or injury caused by using our products and will not be held responsible for the replacement of jewellery damaged by misuse, improper care, or for jewellery ordered in the wrong size, style or material for your piercing. All jewellery is despatched in clear sealed packets allowing the items to be fully inspected prior to opening, by opening the sealed packet you are confirming that the jewellery has arrived in perfect condition.
JoBananas Ltd shall not be held liable regarding any legal action resulting in discrepancies made from the purchase or complications following the use of our products.
SECURITY:
We use Secure Trading or Paypal to handle all of our online orders.
Secure Trading use Thawte 2048 bit encryption systems. At the browser 128 Bit SSL is used.
PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).
We do not see any credit card details at all.
