Threadless Body Piercing Jewellery

Threadless Body Jewellery – What Is It and How Does it Work?

Unlike the traditional way of adding balls, cones or spikes onto the end of your barbell or labret that use a thread and are tricky to attach in place, Threadless jewellery is much simpler to use.

Threadless jewellery uses a push/pull system to add attachments to your bar of choice. The attachments have a long pin that with a small bend creates tension on the hollow shaft of the receptor such as a barbell or labret. Also being internally threaded it will easily pass though your piercing without the thread of the threads damaging or irritating the piercing.

How Do I Insert My Threadless Jewellery

You really need to have performed the test fitting outside of the piercing.

How to install threadless piercings
  1. Insert the pin a third to half way into the shaft.
Easier then standard threaded body jewellery to change the look

3. Push the end into the shaft and test the fit. If you have the correct bend you will feel the tension holding the pin in place.

Easily adjusted to make sure it fits your piercings correctly.

4. If the fit is too tight this is due to over bending of the pin. to fix this you will need to remove some of the bend and try again. It is always best to take it slow and adjust the bend slightly on each test fit.

If the pin seems loose you will need to gently increase the bend.

2. Slightly hand bend the pin against the shaft as shown. Be careful not to over bend as this will make the fit too tight.

Removing the attachment is just a case of holding both parts in your fingers and pulling apart. If you are happy with what you have achieved in terms of tension and the pin does not feel like it will fall out you can then insert it into your piercing and enjoy your new threadless body jewellery.
