This is an internally threaded claw set synthetic opal and is for body jewellery such as barbells or labret studs, they are made out of Surgical Steel and the thread on them is 1.2mm thick. Internally threaded jewellery is ideal for piercings because it is easy to insert and less likely to cause any irritation when fitted because the whole shaft is smooth.
