Advantages: Feel, weight, quality and fit
Disadvantages: Slightly sharp edges when segment is removed. Inserting the main loop as a PA can be an unkind experience if you’re not being careful. Regulars decent tool to get segment off, and great care when adding back.

Advantages: A useful tool for that additional bit of fun
Disadvantages: Be careful when you're selecting a length on this as it has to fit closely to you. If you're uncircumcised, the sizing is even more important.

I love these. I have had an 8g for some time and invested recently in a 0g and 4g. I wear them through my IL piercings. The 8mm is the perfect length. The finish holds up well and the bar is slightly recessed into the balls to give a very smooth look, no gap to worry about. The slight downside is the 8g gap is large enough for discharge to collect in, so be sure to unscrew both balls and wash them regularly. I haven't had the issue with my larger ones. They look great, have a good weight to them, and hold up fantastic

Disadvantages: Discharge/crust can build up on the cracks and start to smell. Easy to fix if you just clean out both sides regularly.
