I'd had my tongue pierced almost 20 years ago, and had like an ulcer underneath which never really bothered me, even though the bottom ball would go up through it.
Recently, however my tongue began to get really sore underneath, as I had to keep 'popping' the ball back through, so when I saw this thought it would help relieve the discomfort. Boy am I glad I did!
At first I was worried about the extra friction the 'doughnut' might cause but after only a week the annoying ulcer thing has shrunk and my tongue piercing looks as good as it did all those years ago. Thanks guys.
